Changing Perceptions - 2nd Edition: Virtual Comedy Show (Show #2: Michael McCreary)

Are you bored in the house and in the house bored? We want to spread positivity and help people connect during this time so we're bringing our sold-out comedy show event back - this time happening from the comfort of your own home!

Here we'll be showcasing the talents of two neurodivergent comedians: Joze Piranian (Show #1: April 11) and Michael McCreary (Show #2: April 18). Following each of their comedy sets, we'll open it up to audience Q and A's where you can learn more about both of their incredible journeys.

All donations go towards supporting us in our mission of empowering neurodivergent youth to be leaders in their communities. Read more at www.viablecareers.org.

Register now at bit.ly/viabilitycn2! Zoom link will be emailed upon registration.

Comedian Bios:

Joze Piranian is a TEDx Speaker, Seasoned Stutterer and Comedian who has gone from avoiding speaking almost entirely due to the fear of being judged for being "different" to performing stand-up in three continents and three languages! He recently opened for NEMR at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto in May 2019. Joze has also performed at The Laugh Factory (Chicago), The Stand (Edinburgh), the Tribeca Comedy Lounge (NY), The Comedy Nest (Montreal) and Awk.ward(Lebanon). When he's not performing comedy, Joze is a motivational speaker who loves travelling - he speaks 6 languages and he stutters in all of them!

Twenty-three year old Michael McCreary is an autistic comedian, author and TEDx speaker who’s been performing stand-up comedy since age 13. In the past 6 years he has performed stand-up shows and keynote addresses in every province in Canada – plus the Yukon - and across the United States. Michael has also written the book “Funny, You Don’t Look Autistic” (Annick Press), hosted the Autism Ontario video “Autism: See the Potential”, has consulted on the TV show “Ransom” to ensure the authenticity of a character with autism and has been featured on The National and on CBC Radio’s “Laugh Out Loud”!
